and Specialty Clubs as well as Rescue Groups. In addition to
your personalized back office for changing your online Display
listing you will have access to an online 1st Choice Dogs
Affiliate Back Office, complete with marketing tools to assist
you in your fund raising endeavors. Affiliates must also
agree to abide by the
Affiliate

Who qualifies to become an affiliate and
earn?
We register only clubs recognized by either the American
Kennel Club, Canadian Kennel Club or the United Kennel Club.
We also allow legitimate Rescue Groups, that either have a club
affiliation, are registered as a non-profit or are a register
entity in their community.
Why do you only allow Clubs and Rescue
Groups? What about the rest of us?
We allow only clubs and rescue groups because frankly they often
support the rest of the dog community such as breeders, handlers
and other service professionals with their programs. In
recognition that breeders, handlers, groomers, boarding kennels,
pet sitters and veterinarians deserve recognition, we give our
valued clubs and rescue groups discount coupons to share with
the those that support their efforts. So, support a club
or rescue group when registering and you can save too.
How do I get a club or rescue group to
support so I can save?
We suggest you encourage one of your local clubs or rescue
groups to register, it's FREE for them after all.
Once they are registered they will have access to their own
personalized back office promotions area where they can generate
a link and send it to you so you can save on your listing.
We call this a WIN WIN situation, they earn needed funds and you
save!
How often will I be paid?
Affiliate Referral Bonuses are paid out once per month on the
20th of every month for the previous months referrals in U.S.
currency. Bonuses will be paid by check via regular mail to the
recipient after they achieve a minimum payable balance of $20.00
(US) or more. Affiliate Bonuses will continue to accumulate
until they have reached the $20.00 limit required for payout.
Referral payouts are based on actual selling price, this allows
us to run specials on select subscriptions and yet still reward
our valued affiliates that support our site.
Is there a minimum account balance required
for payout?
Yes, your account balance must be
$20.00 USD in
order to receive a payment.
What if my account balance doesn't meet the
minimum?
Your account balance will carry over from month-to-month until
it meets our minimum balance requirement of
$20.00 USD.
How do I get
credit for a Purchase?
One of the things we dislike with other affiliate programs
was that if a person clicked through from your link and didn't
sign right then, but came back later - maybe hours, maybe days,
maybe months - you didn't get credit. We wanted our program to
be different, so we track your customers for you with our state
of the art system that has 3 tracking methods, one of which is
cookies. We also have Affiliate embedded code, as well one
other secret weapon.
How much will I earn?
You will earn 25% for every subscription listing sale you
generate based on the purchase price! Example:
regular price is $60.00 if you retail a subscription at that
price you earn $15.00, however if you hand out a coupon that
perhaps allows the buyer to purchase at $40.00 then you earn
$10.00 on commission. The overall amount you are able to
earn will be dependant on you and your groups effort.
How will I know how much I have earned and
when I'll get paid?
Our attractive back office allows you to see LIVE exactly
how your promotions are working. Once you are logged in to
your back office you can get complete statistics regarding your
affiliate activities, you will even be able to see who is also
assisting you in your promotional efforts.
How do we promote 1st Choice Dogs so we can
earn?
It's very easy... use your back office affiliate system to
generate banners, email link and send to a friend functions.
It's all their in your back office.
Can anyone help us promote?
Absolutely! In fact we recommend that Club members and
Rescue group supporters promote as well.
How Does it really work?
As an affiliate you have a unique identification number that
is automatically embedded into your "send a friend" and "send a
friend a coupon" functions in your back office affiliate
management area. This is the same as your affiliate ID #
which can be given out to people to insure you get credit.
Who can I get to support our Affiliate Fund Raising efforts?
Well, clubs often rely on their membership to help promote
their efforts, as it doesn't cost their members a thing to help
promote. Rescue groups often have volunteers to assist
them in their efforts.
Can I sponsor
a club or rescue group?
Sorry, although we hope you do spread the word about our
fundraising program, we don't allow clubs or rescue groups to
earn affiliate commissions from clubs or rescue groups that
register under them, this is how we control cost factoring and
can pay out a higher commission level and remain productive
ourselves.
What is the "send a coupon to a friend" promotion?
The "send a coupon to a friend" function allows you to send
via email a unique url with your embedded Affiliate I.D. number
and a saving 1 time use coupon for that supporter. You
don't have to send out coupons, if you don't want to, but it's
there for you if you so choose.
What products or services are available for affiliate
commissions?
Currently we have two ways to earn. We have our
online subscription listing services for breeders, professional
handlers, groomers, trainers, boarding kennels and
veterinarians. We also have our regional directories which
are published annually and only distributed through our
affiliates, 100% of what these are sold for goes the the
participating affiliate. We have more on the way over the
course of year.
